RITVER 2K MS CLEARCOAT is a 2K medium solids acrylic polyol based clearcoat. The product is based on a good endowed; offering good opacity, hardness and yellowing resistance. It is especially recommended for systems to meet the harsh climatic conditions of the Gulf and neighboring regions. Its proven performance makes it the best choice for a good quality acrylic finish with long life.

Concrete, steel, GRP, other metals, texotile systems and wood coatings.

A good surface preparation and following the recommended system procedure of Ritver is ideal for the application of 2K MS Clearcoat. Exclusions for successful application include perpetually wet surfaces and also large cavities on wood, metal and concrete surfaces.

For Metals:
Ensure that the surface is properly prepared, sanded and smoothened. Blow off sanding dusts using compressed dry air and then clean using a solvent degreaser to remove oils, grease and grimes before any application paint application is conducted. Use a new cloth so as to ensure that re-contamination is avoided. Apply the primer, PS1756, then sand it then over coat it with RAP Basecoat followed by the 2K Clearcoat.
For Wood:
Substrates that are generally used are clear wood natural, veneered or lightly stained. It is advised to use Ritver Acrylic 2K Primer after sanding with sanding paper about 120-150 type. Fill all the grains with a good liberal coat. Be sure that no sanding residues (or other) are present on substrate before applying the topcoat finish. Proceed with 2K MS Clear coat after this to the desired coverage required.
For Plaster, Masonry & Concrete:
Achieve a good and clean surface by removing all contaminants by cleaning & drying. A laitance free surface should be achieved by good sweep blast or a wire brush.

1. It is strongly recommended to use personal protective equipment during application.
2. Product should be stirred properly prior to use.
3. Prior to application, use of filter is recommended to avoid dust particles.
4. Clean the gun properly before and after usage.

Under dry and cool condition, Storage stability can be sound up to 2 years in originalsealed containers.

Disposal: As per the guidance and legislations of the local Authority e.g., by controlled landfill. In case of doubt, consult local authority. Do not empty into drains, sewers or other water courses.
Caution: It is strongly advised not to keep open half used drums asit forms a skin on the top layer

Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing such as overalls, goggles, dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier cream. Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being applied. Do not breathe vapour or spray.

FIRST AID
Eyes: In the event of accidental splashes, flush eyes with warm water immediately and obtain medical advice.
Skin: Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or approved Industrial cleaner. DO NOT USE solvent or thinners.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, loosen collar and keep patient rested.
Ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Obtain immediate medical attention.
NOTE:
This product can be used even as non-yellowing fixative on lacquer manufactured, treated with ageing products; be sure of the compatibility with the products used in the varnishing cycle.
