2K PRIMER GREY – PS1756 is an acrylic polyurethane-based two component product. It is mainly developed to cater the needs of the automotive, construction, wood and metal coating industry. It has durable and good weather resistant pigments and the film offers good toughness. At the same time, it brings about good adhesion to various top coats. Being, polyurethane based, it is highly durable as a system and forms an integral part of the Ritver Polyurethane series.

Steel structure, metals, wood work and various concrete surfaces.

A good surface preparation and following the method statement / recommended system procedure of Ritver is an ideal recommendation for the application of this product. Exclusions for successful application include perpetually wet surfaces and also large cavities on wood, metal and concrete surfaces.
For Metals: Achieve a good and clean surface by removing all contaminants by cleaning & drying. A rust free surface should be achieved by good sweep blast or a wire brush. In case of automobile substrates where a high degree of surface is to be maintained the use of Ritver degreasing solvent is recommended.
For wood:
Substrates that are generally used are clear wood, natural, veneered or lightly stained. It is advised to use Ritver Acrylic Based 2K Primer Grey after sanding with sanding paper about 120-150 type.
Fill all the grains with a good liberal coat. Be sure that no sanding residues (or other) are present on substrate before applying the topcoat finish. In case of stains to be used do note the compatibility
with stains.
For Plaster, Masonry & Concrete:
Achieve a good and clean surface by removing all contaminants by cleaning & drying. A laitance free surface should be achieved by good sweep blast or a wire brush.

Under dry and cool condition, Storage stability can be sound up to 12 months in original sealed containers.

Disposal: As per the guidance and legislations of the local Authority e.g., by controlled landfill. In case of doubt, consult local authority. Do not empty into drains, sewers or other water courses.
Caution: It is strongly advised not to keep open half used drums as it forms a skin on the top layer.

Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing such as overalls,goggles, dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier
cream.Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being applied. Do not breathe vapour or spray.
MSDS is available on request for the safe handling of this product.
FIRST AID
Eyes: In the event of accidental splashes, flush
eyes with warm water immediately and obtain medical advice.
Skin: Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water
or approved Industrial cleaner. DO NOT USE solvent or thinners.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, loosen collar and
keep patient rested.
Ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion DO NOT
INDUCE VOMITING. Obtain immediate medical attention.
NOTE:
This product can be used even as non-yellowing fixative on lacquer manufactured, treated with ageing products; be sure of the compatibility with the products used in the varnishing cycle.
