Acrilic Orange Peel Orange

Special effect two component ORANGE PEEL PAINT based on acrylic modified resin, designed to provide a smooth and unleveled surfaces with true peel of orange effect after full curing.

It is mainly for furniture in general, cabinets, drawers, pictures frames, chairs and turned pieces.
Area to use: Interior

All timber species must be fully aged with a moisture content of less than 15%. Surface must be dry, clean and free from contaminations. Natural oil or gum must be removed by solvent cleaning.
This can be applied on pigmented polyester or polyurethane products; one or more coats depending on the substrate and desired covering. Sand very well the surface before application of the top finish. Apply evenly.

CATALYST

Pot Life 6 hrs. @ 25°C
Stir product well with a flat paddle. Add the correct quantity of hardener and stir till homogeneous. Thin to required viscosity. For details of spray equipment contact Ritver Technical Services Department.
DILUTION
Spraying:
Dilute with PU thinner [TP292] at 20-25%.
In case of hot and humid climate, it is necessary to add 5 % of PU retardant thinner [TP222].

Depends on the finishes required but in general an appropriate rate is 120 gr / sq. m. The number of coats depends on the surface preparation the porosity of the substrate, and the finish required.
Following Treatments
Spray gun: Use spray gun with a 1.6 – 1.8 mm. nozzle at 3-4 atm/bar. Airless and air-mix equipments may also be used.
NB: If EF945 should be applied in two coats. The first should be thinned 15-20% to ensure an even colour and to begin to create the orange peel effect. The second coat should then be applied by convention spray gun, without thinning, using a 3 mm. nozzle spray gun at a pressure of about 3 atm.

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with [TC010] Tool Cleaning.

Available in 5Ltr, 25Ltr.
Store in a cool and well ventilated place. Keep away from direct sunlight. 18 months in unopened container, stored in a cool and dry condition at 25°C.

This material is flammable and must not be exposed to naked flames.
Use only in well ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation during application wear suitable respiratory equipment. Do not breathe vapor / spray. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of sweet water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin,wash immediately with soap and water or a recognized skin cleanser.
Keep away from sources of ignition. No Smoking. Keep out of reach of children.
