Standard grade two components Acrylic Topcoat clear UV Filter , formulated with non- yellowing content combined with good transparency , flow ,and leveling characteristics , provides the excellent equalization of the matt effect combined with the high mechanical resistant and soft touch that enhance the overall beauty and practicality of the finishing product.

Applicable for exterior under shade as [maple, birch, ash, reconstructed veneers, etc.…], and further coating as white or pastel colored the surfaces and protect them from yellowing and suitable for interior and as well as exterior exposed wood.

All timber species must be fully aged with a moisture content of less than 15%. The surface must be dry, clean and free from contaminations. Natural oil or gum must be removed by solvent cleaning.
To obtain optimum surface finish sand the wood properly in the same direction of the wood grain, utilize sanding paper no. [100]. After sealer dry , utilize paper No.[220] to create smoothness to the substrate , then utilize paper No.[400 ] to achieve perfection of substrate . Apply basecoat [AB401] Acrylic sanding Sealer till reaching between coats is essential, as is adequate sanding and removal of dust prior to application of first coat [ATUV42XX] Acrylic Clear Topcoat UV Resistance. Dilution
Add the correct quantity of hardener and stir till for details of spray equipment contact Ritver Technical Utilize [TP292] PU Thinner depending on the application system used. In general 20 -30% thinner is added to achieve an application viscosity. This is suitable for spraying. For Curtain coater 10-20% Thinner is added to achieve an application viscosity. In case of high humidity climate add 5% [TP222] PU retardant thinner.

Depends on the finishes required but in general an appropriate rate is 120 gr / sq. m. The number of coats depends on the surface preparation the porosity of the substrate, and the finish required.
Following Treatments
By spray gun: utilize nozzle 1.8 – 2 mm at 3-4 ATM/bar. For details of Spray equipment contact Ritver Technical Services Department.
By Curtain Coater: it is recommended to control the viscosity during application by adding PU Thinner to balance the evaporation of solvents.

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with [TC010] Tool Cleaner.
