Two components Pigmented Acrylic primer surface formulated with special filling contents combined with high opacity, plasticity , and very good sanding properties indicated to level veneered or solid timber , results in a good wetting of the wood pore.

Designed for use on all interior furnishings as wardrobes, closet sofas, paneling, doors, windows frames, casting etc…. The product is fast drying which allows for quick handling of the furniture. It can be also applicable in tunnel varnishing cycle with forced air and environmental conditions.

All timber species must be fully aged with a moisture content of less than 15%. The surface must be dry, clean and free from contaminations. Natural oil or gum must be removed by solvent
cleaning.
To obtain optimum surface finish, sand the wood properly in the same direction of the wood grain, utilize sanding paper no. [100]. Then and after surface leveling, remove the dust prior to
application of first coat [AB410] Acrylic Primer Surface. After drying, minimum [8 hrs.], it is possible to sand the surface utilizing paper no. [220-320] over coated with Acrylic Top coat
NB: Do not apply thick coat in order to avoid inconvenience before applying the topcoat.

Dilution
Utilize [TP291] PU Thinner depending on the application system used. In general 20 -30% thinner is added to achieve an application viscosity. This is suitable for spraying.
For Curtain coater 10-20% Thinner is added to achieve an application viscosity. In case of hot humidity climate add 5% [TP222] PU retardant thinner.

Depends on the finishes required but in general an appropriate rate is between 130 g/sq. m. The number of coats depends on the surface preparation the porosity of the substrate, and the finish required.
Following Treatments
By spray gun: Utilize nozzle 1.8 – 2 mm at 3-4 ATM/bar. For details of spray equipment contact Ritver Technical Services Department.
By Curtain Coater: It is recommended to control the viscosity during application by adding PU Thinner to balance the evaporation of solvents.

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with [TC010] Tool Cleaning.
