Ritver Airfield Road Marking is a solvent borne Road and airfield runway marking paint based on special synthetic resin. The product exhibits excellent adhesionand resistance to mechanical wear and tear, impact, oil, gasoline jet fuel and water. To enhance the reflective property of the paint, glass beads can be incorporated by premixing 2 parts paint to one part beads, or by dropping the beads on the still wet paint.

Substrates: Concrete, Asphalt
Area of Use: Roads and Airfield Runways

Ensure that the substrate is sound, dry and free of any surface contaminants such as organic growth, dirt, oil, grease, wax, polish and dust.
Adequate ventilation is an ideal situation as it helps in drying and the good application itself. Avoid high humid conditions i.e., >95% when condensation is likely to interfere and also when the surface temperature is at least 3°C above dew point.

Application: To be done by conventional roller or spray at 2200 – 2500 psi for airless spray or 50 – 60 psi for conventional spray. Nozzle size: 0.017 – 0.020 inches. In case of large areas
to be covered usage of spray motorized road marking equipment’s is highly recommended.
Applicator may refer to the correct techniques with the technical department. For smaller areas a regular roller or a brush may be used. One can add 5 – 10% of Thinner for ease of application of brush/roller/or spray viscosity.
Note: In order to add the reflectance of the paint, enhance by addition of glass beads of the required specification either by mixing through the bulk or by dropping/smearing the same on the applied surface in wet condition.
Caution: Over diluting would result in sag and run downs.
