Binder Clear

RITVER BINDER CLEAR is a single component, fast drying clear basecoat for blending used for vehicle refinish. This product facilitates excellent adhesion of Ritver clear coats that delivers a high gloss finish. The product dries within 15 minutes and can be over painted with clear within 30 minutes depending on the ambient temperature. It exhibits excellent weather resistance and color fastness as well.

RITVER BASECOAT is suitable to be applied over 2K Ritver Primer (PS 1756).

Ensure that the surface is properly prepared,sanded and smoothened. Blow offsanding dusts using compressed dry air and then clean using a solvent degreaser to remove oils, grease and grimes before any application paint application is conducted. Use a new cloth so as to ensure that re-contamination is avoided. Apply the primer, PS1756, then sand it then over coat it with RAP Basecoat.

1. It is strongly recommended to use personal protective equipment during application.
2. Product should be stirred properly prior to use.
3. Prior to application, use of filter is recommended to avoid dust particles.

SPRAY EQUIPMENT For spray application, we recommend
using HVLP Spray Gun
Nozzle size: 1.2 – 1.3 mm
Pressure: 2 bar (29 psi inlet)
NUMBER OF COATS Apply 2 normal coats for opacity.
A 3rd coat can be applied depending
on the desired opacity.
FLASH TIME Flash off time: 3 – 5 minutes between
each coat.
Allow drying for 15 – 20 minutes

Under dry and cool condition, Storage stability can be sound up to 2 years in original sealed containers.

Disposal: As per the guidance and legislations of the local Authority e.g., by controlled landfill.  In case of doubt, consult local authority. Do not empty into drains, sewers or other water courses.
Caution: It isstrongly advised not to keep open half used drums as it forms a skin on the top layer.

Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing such as overalls, goggles, dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier cream.
Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being applied. Do not breathe vapour or spray.
MSDS is available on request for the safe handling of this product.
FIRST AID
Eyes: In the event of accidental splashes, flush eyes with warm water immediately and obtain medical advice.
Skin: Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or approved Industrial cleaner. DO NOT USE solvent or thinners.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, loosen collar and keep patient rested.
Ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Obtain immediate medical
attention.
NOTE: This product can be used even as nonyellowing fixative on lacquer manufactured, treated with ageing products; be sure of the compatibility with the products used in the varnishing cycle.
