BONDACOAT PVA is a single component emulsified polyvinyl acetate emulsion as polymer latex. It is supplied in milky low viscosity liquid ready to mix with cementitious repairing mortar and screeds.
BONDACOAT PVA is a multipurpose bonding agent and concrete admixture. Compliance: BS 6319 Part 2, 3, 4.

BONDACOAT PVA is used as primer water base of cementitious plasters.
BONDACOAT PVA is used as admixture to reduce the shrinkage of concrete repair mortars.
BONDACOAT PVA can use as boding agent for bridges, car parking, water tanks and airport runways.
It is suitable for warehouses, garages and industrial buildings.

  • Water based no VOC.
  • Applicable for internal and external purposes.
  • Easy to mix with cementitious repairing materials.
  • Reduce shrinkage and hair cracks.
  • Improves the hardness and compressive strength.
  • Improves erosion and corrosion resistance.
  • Bonding agent of new concrete to old concrete.
  • Waterproofing characteristics, applicable in water reservoirs.
  • Good penetration in concrete surface, masonry and plasters.
  • Chloride free.

All surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust and other contaminants. Use a dry sponge to remove water on wet surfaces. Treat oil or grease contamination should be removed by degreaser followed by water or steam cleaning. Keep the depth of application area at 10 mm minimum to avoid featheredging.
Exposed steel bars must be cleaned. Roughen the surface and remove the laitance by light scrabbling or grit blasting.
The concrete substrate should be flushed with cleaned water and the steel bars coated by anticorrosion paint ZINCOAT EP or PRIME EPS [Red] – Refer to TDS

Slurry BONDACOAT PVA:
Clean water: 1.0 liter
BONDACOAT PVA: 1.0 liter
OPC: 3.0 – 5.0 kg
All parts should be mixed using a low speed drill paddle. The mixture is ready to use as a primer coat.
Mortar BONDACOAT PVA:
Clean water: 8-10 liter
BONDACOAT PVA: 10.0 liter
OPC: 50.0 kg
Graded washed silica sand: 150 kg
All part should be mixed by using low speed drill paddle. The mixture is used as patching repairing mortar.

BONDACOAT PVA should be applied immediately after removing the shattering by spraying in two directions to confirm that the concrete surface is completely covered.
BONDACOAT PVA can be applied to the surface recently hardened to keep the concrete surface saturated.
