DC UV CLEAR SEALER BY SPRAYING

It is a clear dual cure UV Sealer basecoat indicate for application by spray. It exhibits a good adhesion, uniform film, good filling property and very easy sand ability by machine and hand.

The surface must be dry, clean and free from contaminations. Natural oil or gum must be removed by solvent cleaning. Sand and remove all the dust before to apply the basecoat. Not suitable for application on non-wooden substrate (paper or laminate) or on Tannin-rich wood in case apply first a suitable isolant/ adhesion primer.

Add Photo-initiator CUV095 4% by weight. Add catalyst CUV096 10% by weight.
Dilute the product with TUV693 or TUV696 20-40% by weight, to reach the ideal viscosity for spray application and up to 20% thinner by weight of curtain application.
In according to the type of UV line and type of finishing system can be change the quantity of photo-initiator and thinner. Please, for information contact our Technical service RITVER.

The product must be cure under high pressure UV lamps, after 5-15 minutes of flash-off in air. The number of lamps, the line speed and flash-off should be in according to the type of UV line, the type of finishing system and type of substrate and work condition.
In generic UV line with 3 UV lamps each 80W.cm with exposure 7-8 sec, total cure will be obtained with line-speed around 10-12m/min.

The product should be applied preferably by automatic spray, machine. The number of coats shall be in according to the type of wood and the finishing desired.
Application rate 100-180g/m2.

Available in 25Ltr.
Store in a cool and well ventilated place, with temperature controller between 10 to 30°C. Keep cans tightly close. For the shelf life, minimum 6 months from the production date, if the storage advice are followed.

This material is flammable and must not be exposed to naked flames. Keep away from sources of ignition. No Smoking. Keep out of reach of children.
Use only in well ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation during application, wear suitable respiratory equipment. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of sweet water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water or a recognized skin cleanser.
