DC UV WHITE MATT BY SPRAYNG

Pigmented acrylic product applying as top coat by spraying machine (robot and automatic system), on flat substrates, previously treated with UV basecoat of the same nature. It is endowed with very good distension, film uniformity, hardness and scratch-resistance.

Sand very well the substrate already treated with UV basecoat applied by spray, without leave any sanding residues, before to apply the UV top-finish. The way to prepare the substrate with the UV basecoat, determine the final result, for this reason do a good basecoat treatment.

Add Photo-initiator CUV098 4% by weight. Add catalyst CUV096 10% by weight.
Dilute the product with TUV693 or TUV696 30-50% until reaching the working viscosity of 16-18 Sec cup No 4.
In according to the type of UV line and type of finishing system can be change the quantity of photo-initiator and thinner. Please, for information contact our Technical service RITVER.

The product must be dried under high pressure gallium and mercury UV lamps, after 10-15min flash- off under air and TL Lamps with light if available and if not normal tunnel is required. UV
finishing lines are usually customized, the suitability of the product for the specific line must be checked by preliminary tests.
In general, for the typical spray line speed of 3-4m.min, 2 lamps of 120 W.cm (one gallium + one mercury) operated at 65% power can provide the full cure of the film. It is imperative to check periodically the UV emission of the and to replace them according to the instructions of the manufacturer. UV light intensity decreases upon ageing of the lamps and heat generations
increases. Insufficient UV light intensity will cause incomplete cure of the topcoat, particularly in the depth of the film, resulting in lack adhesion.

The product must be applied by spray machine after adding the photo initiator, the catalyst and the thinner. Use only automatic spray equipment’s and do not use manual spray gun.
Application rate 110-150g/m2

If the drum is hermetically closed and well stored at 25°C, the product and the additives have six months of shelf-life. For material already included the photo initiator additive the shelf life of the product is month Use before the expiry date indicated on labeling.

This material is flammable and must not be exposed to naked flames. Keep away from sources of ignition. No Smoking. Keep out of reach of children.
Use only in well ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation during application, wear suitable respiratory equipment. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of
