Falimentosa Paint (Colored)

Special effect Filamentosa paints, designed to provide the surface of the manufactured article an effect marbled finishes. The product goes out the nozzle shaped like filaments which set on the surface giving the effect of fully irregular cracked surface in thin lines like a spider – web.

This product is applicable where special effect is desired.
Area to use: Interior

All timber species must be fully aged with a moisture content of less than 15%. Surface must be dry, clean and free from contaminations. Natural oil or gum must be removed by solvent cleaning.

Stir product well with a flat paddle. Thin to required viscosity. For details of spray equipment

ADDITIVES Not necessary in normal conditions.

Depends on the finishes required. The number of coats depends on the surface preparation the porosity of the substrate, and the finish required.
Following Treatments
The subsequent treatments to the application of Filamentosa series are:
– after some minutes of application of filamentous products (to avoid the typical thickness of filamentous) fix the effect with a clear basecoat of same naturffe that has been applied for
preparation;
– after drying and sanding, apply the desired clear top finish, glossy or matt, polyurethane or polyester based.
NOTE
An alternative to the suggested working cycle indicated is:
– application of pigmented basecoat (PU or PE)
– drying and sanding
– application of Filamentosa colour series
– drying and application of clear top finish matt or glossy (PU or PE)

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with [TC010] Tool Cleaning.

Available in USG, 5USG.
Store in a cool and well ventilated place. Keep away from direct sunlight. One year in unopened
container, stored in a cool and dry condition at 25°C.

This material is flammable and must not be exposed to naked flames.
Use only in well ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation during application wear suitable respiratory equipment. Do not breathe vapor / spray. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of sweet water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water or a recognized skin cleanser.
Keep away from sources of ignition. No Smoking. Keep out of reach of children.
