FINE PEARL VIOLET

Special effect two components FINE Pearl, based on acrylic resin and semi-transparent iridescent substances fairly fine particles, suitable to provides an attractive fine pearl effect.

It is recommended for all type of woodworks, kitchen, internal doors and frames, head boards and drawers.
Area to use: Interior

All timber species must be fully aged with a moisture content of less than 15%. Surface must be
dry, clean and free from contaminations. Natural oil or gum must be removed by solvent
cleaning.
It can be used on veneer substrate, solid wood, and MDF which were treated with pigmented polyurethane or polyester basecoats. Apply two or more coats according to the desired covering.
After drying, sand the basecoat with at least 400 type sanding paper. Ensure that no residues on the substrate before application of topcoat.

CATALYST

Pot Life : 6 hrs. @ 25°C
Stir product well with a flat paddle. Add the correct quantity of hardener and stir till homogeneous. Thin to required viscosity. For details of spray equipment contact Ritver Technical Services Department.
Dilution
Spraying:
Dilute with PU thinner [TP292] at 20-30%.
In case of hot and humid climate, it is necessary to add 5 % of PU retardant thinner [TP222].

Depends on the finishes required but in general an appropriate rate is 100 gr / sq. m. The
number of coats depends on the surface preparation the porosity of the substrate, and the finish required.
Following Treatments
Use spray gun with a 1.8 – 2.0 mm. nozzle at 3-4 atm/bar.
NB: Application over pigmented basecoats or pigmented matt topcoats (dark colours)
creates a glittering metallic effect that is more pronounced than that produced by (metal finish
effect).
To fully exploit its characteristics, PF2800 should be applied on top of dark colours (black,
dark blue amaranth, etc.) Stains can be added to PF2800 in whatever percentage is needed to
obtain special chromatic effects.
After drying this product does not need any particular subsequent treatment.
Anyway, it is possible to apply on top of FINE PEARL (after 2 hrs. without sanding) an acrylic
top finish glossy (to increase the brightness) or matt (for a matt effect).

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with [TC010] Tool Cleaning.

Available in 5Ltr. 25Ltr.
Store in a cool and well ventilated place. Keep away from direct sunlight. 18 months in unopened container, stored in a cool and dry condition at 25°C.

This material is flammable and must not be exposed to naked flames.
Use only in well ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation during application wear suitable respiratory equipment. Do not breathe vapor / spray. In case of contact with eyes, rinse
immediately with plenty of sweet water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin,wash immediately with soap and water or a recognized skin cleanser.
Keep away from sources of ignition. No Smoking. Keep out of reach of children.
