Ritver Joint Filler is a user friendly surfacing cum render compound and is generally used in conjunction with Ritver Filler compound (Fine). The product is carefully designed to be one of the best products which are a good answer to replacing traditional sand-cement plaster. It is used both in interior applications as well as exterior on many surfaces. Its design is chosen by a combination of acrylic binders and carefully selected filling alkali resistant pigments/aggregates and its formulations have internal plasticizing with balanced dosage of antifungal and antibacterial compounds. It has a proven history of filling construction flaws such as irregularities, hairline cracks and indentations. By applying it on the cracks or indentations along with Ritver filler compound (Fine), it forms a smooth but leveled surface with good anchorage for the subsequent coats. It finds wide use in the painting/decorations of wall papers where conventional stucco putty has limitations

Substrates: Concrete, plaster, masonry, gypsum, and wood works.
Area of Use:
1. Interiors & Exteriors.
2. Fair face surfaces like concrete, plaster walls ceilings, block works and many other construction related applications.
3. Can also be used as joint filler for gypsum boards and general repair filler.

A good surface preparation and following the recommended method statement / system procedure of Emver is an ideal recommendation for the application of Ritver Joint Filler

For Plaster, Masonry & Concrete:
Achieve a good and clean surface by removing all contaminants by cleaning & drying. A laitance free surface should be achieved by good sweep blast or a wire brush. Cavities / gaps as big as 1 cm can be filled carefully in combination with of both the Ritver filling compounds (Coarse and fine). Before applying the Ritver Joint Filler apply one coat of Ritver PVA All weather Primer (EXT) or Ritver Alkali Resistant Primer and allow drying.

Adequate ventilation is an ideal situation as it helps in drying and the good application itself. Avoid high humid conditions i.e., >95% when condensation is likely to interfere and also when the surface temperature is at least 3°C above dew point. Generally water addition is not recommended but to suit the convenience of the applicator minimum quantity of sweet water can be added. One can apply with a stainless steel trowel or a broad bladed knife. If the filling area is more use a good spread of Ritver Joint Filler and also a polyurethane tape followed by Ritver filling compound (Fine) to make it a smooth surface.
