NC Thinner

NC Thinner RIT343 is a mixture of esters, glycol, and aromatic solvents and ketones suitable diluents to all nitro products. It is manufactured for reducing NC product before they are applied by different methods. (Preferable NC sealer only).

All RITVER thinners listed are to be used in conjunction with the corresponding products and systems they are intended or. Any technical guidance required may be obtained by the end user is requested to contact the RITVER Technical Department prior to the usage of the same.
Caution: While excess usage / over thinning is not advisable in any system, one can add 200% of the concerned Thinner for ease of application of spray for NC basecoat (clear and pigmented), and 100% for NC topcoat (clear and pigmented).

Quickly reduces the consistency of the lacquer to the required degree. Improves film smoothness of lacquers when applied either by spray or dipping thus extending excellent finish. Lacquer driers without blushing, resin blush, pinhole and other surface defects. No orange peel developed after the evaporation of NC Thinner, and therefore increases the tensile strength of the film along with its gloss.
NC Thinner has a certain action preventing milky effect of the surface.

Available in 1ltr, 5ltr, 5Usg, 10x(5Usg).
Under dry and cool condition, Storage stability can be sound up to 18 months in original sealed Containers.
Handling

• Disposal: As per the guidance and legislations of the local Authority e.g., by controlled landfill. In case of doubt, consult local authority. Do not empty into drains, sewers or other water courses.
• Flash Point: Individual flash points are mentioned in the table along with other details and a prior knowledge of the flash points is a pre requisite for the safe handling of the RITVER thinners.

• • Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing such as overalls, goggles,dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier cream. Other industrial practices are applicable.
  • Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being applied. Do not breathe vapor or spray.
  • MSDS is available upon request for the safe handling of this product.

First Aid
Eyes: In the event of accidental splashes, flush eyes with warm water immediately and obtain medical advice.
Skin: Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or approved Industrial cleaner. Do not use solvent or thinners.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, loosen collar and keep patient rested.
Ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion do not induce vomiting. Obtain immediate medical attention.
