Ideal for interior & exterior use on all types of furniture and timber, e.g. chipboard, plywood, metal, etc., especially where early sanding is required and speed of over coating is essential. It can be over coated with subsequent pigmented topcoats of different shades: Matt / S. gloss / H. gloss finishes.

For Woods:
All timber species must be fully aged with a moisture content of less than 15%. The surface must be dry, clean and free from contaminations. Natural oil or gum must be removed by solvent cleaning.
To obtain optimum surface finish, sand the surface properly, sand the wood properly in the same direction of the wood grain, utilize sanding paper no. [120] to achieve smooth surface, as is Adequate sanding and remove dust prior to application of first coat of [NB144] NC Primer white.

For Metals:
In case of mild conditions of application, remove the previous coat with a mechanical tool, wire mesh, or a mild sweep blast is to be done.
In case of detailed Surface preparation is warranted, remove all wax, oil and grease should be removed by solvent cleaning in accordance with the guidelines given by SSPC-SP1. Where necessary remove weld spatter and round off all rough weld seams and sharp edges to a smooth surface. Ideally abrasive blast clean to a minimum standard of SA 2-½ Swedish Standard SIS 05 59 00 or ISO 8501-1:1988. Any surface defects revealed by blast cleaning should be ground, filled or treated in a suitable manner. After blasting, remove dust from the surface. The surface to be coated must be clean and dry with Ritver NC Primer White before applying the top coat.

Stir well before use. Thin to the required viscosity ensuring the product is homogeneous.
Dilution
Utilize [TN190] NC Thinner depending on the application system used. In general 150-200% thinner is added to achieve an application viscosity. This is suitable for the spraying application.
For Curtain coater application utilize [TN190] NC Thinner at 150%.
In case of hot climate and higher humidity, add 3% of [TN122] NC Retardant Thinner

Depends on the finishes required but in general an appropriate rate is 140 g /sq. m. The number of coats depends on the surface preparation the porosity of the substrate, and the finish required.

Cleaning
Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with [TC010] Tool Cleaner.
Caution
Do not use when humidity levels may cause surface condensation (maximum 85%) during rainy conditions or if temperatures are likely to fall below 5°C during application and drying. Protect from frost.
