PLASTIC PRIMER – ARP326 is a transparent single component primer that promotes adhesion of subsequent coats of paint on most plastic substrates particularly those used in automotive. The product exhibits excellent adhesion, flexibility and ease of application. It is a ready to use product fast drying, does not need sanding and has no pot life restrictions.

This product can be applied over plastic substrates like PP, OPP, PE, HDPE and other plastics normally used in automotive. Substrate must be clean and free of any oil grease and any release agents. Wipe substrate with a suitable solvent cleaner then scrub surface with a Scotch-Brite pad and then wipe again, with solvent. Let dry completely ensuring no solvent or water condensation on the surface.

Mix product prior to use to ensure a homogenous mixture.
SPRAY EQUIPMENT Air Spray is the recommended application equipment although air
assisted airless can also be used.
A nozzle tip of 1.2 to 1.3 mm at a pressure of 3 to 3.5 bar (45 to 50 psi).

Under dry and cool condition, Storage stability can be sound up to 6 months in original sealed containers.

Disposal: As per the guidance and legislations of the local Authority e.g., by controlled landfill. In case of doubt, consult local authority. Do not empty into drains, sewers or other water courses.
Caution: It is strongly advised not to keep open half used drums as it forms a skin on the top layer.

Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing such as overalls, goggles, dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier cream. Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being applied. Do not breathe vapor or spray.

FIRST AID
Eyes: In the event of accidental splashes, flush eyes with warm water immediately and obtain medical advice.
Skin: Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or approved Industrial cleaner. DO NOT USE solvent or
thinners.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, loosen collar and keep patient rested.
Ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Obtain immediate medical attention.
