Superior grade Three components polyester topcoat, based on unsaturated polyester resins, designed as ideal finishes to basecoat provides good reactivity, very good hardness [ to have a perfect polishing] and good elasticity. Successive brushing and polishing treatment is applicable to obtain a resistance and brightness surface.

Product is indicated for vertical surfaces.
NB: Due to the typical rigidity of polyester we suggest to utilize for indoor furniture only.

All timber species must be fully aged with a moisture content of less than 15%. Surface must be dry, clean and free from contaminations. Natural oil or gum must be removed by solvent cleaning.
To obtain optimum surface finish, sand the wood properly in the same direction of the wood grain, utilize sanding paper no. [100], and before [ET3299] Polyester topcoat gloss application, it is suggested to apply [PI280 or PI281] PU Isolator to achieve of final result and to avoid inconvenient especially when the wood contents substances that have a bad influence on the drying of polyester.

Step [1] – Add correct quantity of gently [C] to [A] and stir well.
Step [2] – Add correct quantity of gently [B] to [A] and stir well.
Step [3] – Thin to require Viscosity and stir well.
Utilize [TE390] Polyester Thinner depending on the application system used. In general 10-20% thinner is added to achieve an application viscosity of 18-20 seconds Fc4. This is suitable for spraying.

Depends on the finishes required but in general an appropriate rate is 180 gr / sq.m. / coat. The number of coats depends on the surface preparation the porosity of the substrate, and the finish required. Product must be applied by spray gun and on vertical surfaces.
Following Treatments
By spray gun: Utilizing 2-2.5 mm nozzle at 3-4 ATM/bar, of pressure. For details of spray equipment contact Ritver Technical Services Department.
Non – Absorbent supports 100 – 120 g/sq. m. is sufficient Absorbent Substrates 160 – 200 g/ sq.
m can be applied. In many cases the application of one coat, more or less, loaded is enough. If
two coats is required, these can be applied in two ways.
1) Wet-on-Wet with 30 – 60 minutes between coats.
2) Apply a second coat once the first coat is fully dry, with an intermediate sanding.
