Superior Grade three components High Solid Clear Polyester Clear Primer, based on non-wax saturated polyester with selected fillers, designed to provides excellent filling, very good coverage, and easy sand ability. Product is suitable for a wide range of substrates with superb results being obtained on plywood and solid wood applications. Once applied the resulting dry film has excellent clarity that allows for easy sanding and very good vertical application, resulting in high gloss clear polyester.

Suitable for interior furniture that needs a basecoat preparation with products of higher solid and fast drying. It is particularly suggested for coffins, MDF and for varnishing cycles with final gloss top-finish.

All timber species must be fully aged with a moisture content of less than 15%. Surface must be dry, clean and free from contaminations. Natural oil or gum must be removed by solvent cleaning.
To obtain optimum surface finish sand the wood properly in the same direction of the wood grain, utilize sanding paper no. [100]. before polyester basecoat application, it is suggested to apply [PI280 or PI281] PU to achieve of final result and to avoid inconvenient, we suggest the application of the same sealer even on MDF.

Dilution
NB: Do not mix accelerator and catalyst directly. The mixture may explode.
Stir Base product well with a flat paddle.
(Base Comp. = A.) (Catalyst Comp. = B.) : (Accelerator Comp. = C.)
Step [1] – Add correct quantity of gently [C] to [A] and stir well.
Step [2] – Add correct quantity of gently [B] to [A] and stir well.
Step [3] – Thin to require Viscosity and stir well.
Utilize [TE390] Polyester Thinner depending on the application system used. In general 10 -20% thinner is added to achieve an application viscosity of 18- 20 seconds Fc4. This is suitable for spraying.

Depends on the finishes required but in general an appropriate rate is 180 gr / sq.m² / coat. The number of coats depends on the surface preparation the porosity of the substrate, and the finish required.
Following Treatments
By spray gun: Utilizing 2-2.5 mm nozzle at 3-4 atm/bar, or with airless spray.

Non – Absorbent supports 100 – 120 g/sq. m. is sufficient Absorbent Substrates 160 – 200 g/ sq. m can be applied.
In many cases the application of one coat, more or less, loaded is enough. If two coats is required, these can be applied in two ways. 1) Wet-on Wet with 30 – 60 minutes between coats
2) Apply a second coat once the first coat is fully dry, with an intermediate sanding.

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with [TC010] Tool Cleaning.

Available in 5Ltr, 25Ltr.
Store in a cool and well ventilated place. Keep away from direct sunlight. Six months in unopened container, stored in a cool and dry condition at 25°C.
Shelf-life: 6 months.

This material is flammable and must not be exposed to naked flames.
Use only in well ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation during application wear suitable respiratory equipment. Do not breathe vapor / spray. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of sweet water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water or a recognized skin cleanser.
Keep away from sources of ignition. No Smoking. Keep out of reach of children.
