Pu Sealer

Transparent polyurethane basecoat easy to sand; it is indicated to varnish furniture, doors, window such frames, frames and casings. Endowed with a very fast drying, good plasticity, acceptable transparency and good build.

Good sanding of wood surface is advisable before application of PB 208, with sanding paper 100.
Control the compatibility of stains eventually used.

Dilution
Spraying:
Dilute with P.U. thinner TP291 at 25-30%.
Curtain Coater:
Dilute with PU thinner TP291 at 20%.
In case of hot and humidity climate, add 5-10% of PU retardant thinner TP222.
NB: In winter we suggest TP290 for faster drying
And in hot climate we can use TP292 to avoid bubbles and blooming.

You can apply the products as follows:
By spray gun: It is possible to use even airless and air-mix equipments.
By Curtain: This product can be applied even with curtain coater; control the viscosity during application adding PU thinner to balance the evaporation of solvents.
Apply one coat according to the desired covering.
Subsequent Treatments
It is possible to apply matt and glossy top finish, polyurethane or nitrocellulose based, due to the
working cycle used, and belonged to our FINITURE series.
Note
For a correct working cycle, verify that:
– Used stain must be dry;
– Substrate humidity must be under 20%;
– No grease and residues on substrate that can cause defect on wetting;
– Substrate hadn’t treated with ammonia and peroxide.
For a better result of covering, sanding between coats is advisable.
Follow the indication of reducing and time of interval coats

Available in 1Ltr, 5Ltr, 25Ltr.
If the drum is tightly closed and well stored at 25°C, the product has 18 months shelflife. The hardeners have 6 months of shelf-life.

This material is flammable and must not be exposed to naked flames or direct sun light.
Use only in well ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation during application wear suitable respiratory equipment. Do not breathe vapor / spray.
In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of sweet water and seek medical advice.
In case of contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Keep away from sources of ignition. No Smoking. Keep out of reach of children.
