All timber species must be fully aged with a moisture content of less than 15%. Surface must be dry, clean and free from contaminations. Natural oil or gum must be removed by solvent cleaning.
To obtain optimum surface finish sand the wood properly in the same direction of the wood grain, utilize sanding paper no. [100] , then and after surface leveling , utilize paper No.[220] to create smoothness to the substrate , then utilize paper No.[400 ] to achieve perfection of Substrate, as is adequate sanding and removal of dust prior to application of first coat. Control the compatibility of Stains eventually used.

Stir product well with a flat paddle. Add the correct quantity of hardener and stir till homogeneous. Thin to required viscosity. For details of spray equipment contact Ritver Technical Services Department.
Dilution
Utilize [TP292] PU Thinner depending on the application system used. In general 20 -30% thinner is added to achieve an application viscosity. This is suitable for spraying.
For Curtain coater 20% Thinner is added to achieve an application viscosity. In case of high humidity climate add 5-10% [TP222] PU retardant thinner.

Depends on the finishes required but in general an appropriate rate is 140 gr / sq. m. The number of coats depends on the surface preparation the porosity of the substrate, and the finish required.
Following Treatments
By spray gun:
By Curtain Coater:
Utilize nozzle 1.8 – 2 mm at 3-4 ATM/bar. For details of spray equipment contact Ritver Technical Services Department.
It is recommended to control the viscosity during application by adding PU Thinner to balance the evaporation of solvents.
