PU Topcoat White LOW VOC Solvent Base ( 5%-10%-30%-50%-Gloss)

It is two components white Polyurethane topcoat with high mechanical resistance and soft slippery touch. It exhibits a fast drying, very good leveling with good equalization of matting effect. [This material is following the DCL Certification no. CL 16020409. It has VOC of 397 g/l. (GBRS limit is max. 500 g/l), Heavy Metals: Cadmium and Chromium (GBRS limit<500 mg/kg), Arsenic, Mercury and Lead (GBRS limit<100 mg/kg, Formaldehyde≤ 10 mg/kg].

This can be applied on pigmented polyester or polyurethane products; one or more coats depending on
the substrate and desired covering. Sand very well the surface before application of the top finish. Apply
evenly.

Spray gun: Use spray gun with a 1.6 – 1.8mm. nozzle at 3-4 atm/bar. Airless and air-mix equipments may also be used. Curtain Coater: The most important thing is to keep the starting viscosity on right value, adding some thinner to compensate the evaporation. Apply 1 or 2 coats of product (without sanding between, waiting 60-90’) according to the desired covering.
Application rate: 140gr/m2
Subsequent Treatments
After drying this product do not need particular subsequent treatment. In case of ageing treatment request, contact our Technical Department or consult Technical Data Sheet relative to the products mentioned.
Note
When retardant thinner is used (critical condition of temperature) the gloss value can be increased a bit (5 gloss more).
Do not apply more than 2 coats of top finish. Respect interval coats, drying time and quantity suggested.

Available in 1 ltr, 5ltr, 25ltr.
N.B: We fill 1Kg per ltr.
Storage
If the drum is hermetically closed and well stored at 25°C, the product have 18 months of shelf-life.
The hardeners have 6 months of shelf-life
