Pu White Fine Texture Paint (Cat @ 50% CP001-T)

Special Effect two components polyurethane top finishes, filled with texture effect endowed with very good surface abrasion resistance, and very good hardness.

Indicated to treat manufactured wood as: [kitchen, bath and office furniture] and where is necessary to obtain this typical effect.
Area to use: Interior

All timber species must be fully aged with a moisture content of less than 15%. Surface must be dry, clean and free from contaminations. Natural oil or gum must be removed by solvent cleaning.
It can be used on wooden substrates of different nature and MDF, treated with clear basecoats polyurethane or polyester based, two or more coats according to the desired covering.
Sand very well the basecoat before to apply the texture product, using sanding paper 220 grain type followed by 400 type.

CATALYST

Pot Life 3 hrs. @ 25°C
Stir product well with a flat paddle. Add the correct quantity of hardener and stir till homogeneous. Thin to required viscosity. For details of spray equipment contact Ritver Technical Services Department.
DILUTION
Spray: Dilute with PU thinner [TP292] at 20-30%.
Curtain Coater: Dilute with PU thinner [TP292] at 10-20%. Control the viscosity during application, keeping the initial value adding PU thinner to compensate the evaporation.
In case of hot and humid climate, it is necessary to add 5% of PU retardant thinner [TP222].

Depends on the finishes required but in general an appropriate rate is 140 gr / sq. m. The number of coats depends on the surface preparation the porosity of the substrate, and the finish required.
Following Treatments
Spray gun: you can use a spray gun with a 1,8 mm nozzle at pressure of 3-4 atm/bar. It can be used even air-mix equipment, taking care to use proper filter.
Curtain Coater: the most important thing is to keep steady the starting viscosity. Take care about dilution and choice (eventually) of filter. Do not use filter to thin that can compromise the final result, holding the texture waxes.
In spray application, to avoid blooming surface defect and adhesion inconvenient, cross the coat of product, taking care to wet very well the substrate.
Scratching resistance and hardness are completely satisfied after at least 48 hrs. From application.
To obtain a less matt surface respect a characteristic standard, it is possible to add some clear PU glossy finish PT2298 until 10-15% max. Add the glossy product before to catalyze the texture
varnish and use the hardener on mix obtained.

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with [TC010] Tool Cleaning.

Available in 5Ltr, 25Ltr.
Store in a cool and well ventilated place. Keep away from direct sunlight. 18 months in unopened container, stored in a cool and dry condition at 25°C.

This material is flammable and must not be exposed to naked flames.
Use only in well ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation during application wear suitable respiratory equipment. Do not breathe vapor / spray. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of sweet water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin,wash immediately with soap and water or a recognized skin cleanser.
Keep away from sources of ignition. No Smoking. Keep out of reach of children.
