Two components transparent PU Rubber Paint based on special resin and selected filler suitable to provide high scratch resistance with a “soft touch”. It can be used on light timbers, after application of one or two coats of [AB401] ACRYLIC SEALER, according to the desired build required.

It is recommended for all type of woodworks, kitchen, internal doors and frames, head boards and drawers.
Area to use: Interior

All timber species must be fully aged with a moisture content of less than 15%. Surface must be dry, clean and free from contaminations. Natural oil or gum must be removed by solvent cleaning.
It can be used on veneer substrate, solid wood, and MDF which were treated with pigmented polyurethane or polyester basecoats. Apply two or more coats according to the desired covering. After drying, sand the basecoat with at least 400 type sanding paper. Ensure that no residues on the substrate before application of topcoat.

CATALYST

by weight 20% CP068 by volume 20%

Pot Life 3 hrs. @ 25°C
Stir product well with a flat paddle. Add the correct quantity of hardener and stir till homogeneous. Thin to required viscosity. For details of spray equipment contact Ritver Technical Services Department.
DILUTION
Spraying:
Dilute with PU thinner [TP292] at 20-30%.
In case of hot and humid climate, it is necessary to add 5 % of PU retardant thinner [TP222].

Depends on the finishes required but in general an appropriate rate is 100 gr / sq. m. The number of coats depends on the surface preparation the porosity of the substrate, and the finish required.
Following Treatments
Spray gun:
Use spray gun with a 1.8 – 2.0 mm. nozzle at 3-4 atm/bar.

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with [TC010] Tool Cleaning.

Available in USG, 5USG.
Store in a cool and well ventilated place. Keep away from direct sunlight. One year in unopened container, stored in a cool and dry condition at 25°C.

This material is flammable and must not be exposed to naked flames.
Use only in well ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation during application wear suitable respiratory equipment. Do not breathe vapor / spray. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of sweet water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin,
wash immediately with soap and water or a recognized skin cleanser. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Keep out of reach of children.
