PW 2506_Stucco Putty Coarse

Ritver Stucco Putty Coarse is based on an acrylic copolymer formulated with pigments with good alkali resistant pigments. It is primarily used for filling surface irregularities, construction flaws, hairline surface cracks & indentations. The surface is rendered smooth and leveled with enough anchorage so as to apply a smooth layer of subsequent coats.

Substrates: Concrete, plaster, masonry, gypsum, and wood works.
Area of Use: Interiors only.

For Plaster, Masonry & Concrete:
Achieve a good and clean surface by removing all contaminants by cleaning & drying. A
laitance free surface should be achieved by good sweep blast or a wire brush.
Before applying the Ritver Stucco Putty Coarse apply one coat of Ritver PVA Primer
Sealer and allow drying.

For Wood & Timber:
Achieve a good and clean surface by removing all contaminants by cleaning & drying treatment with Ritver Wood Preservative compound is advisable. Start off with a good coat of Ritver Wood Primer and allow to dry well and apply required coats of Ritver
Stucco Putty Coarse.
Exclusions for successful application include perpetually wet surfaces and also large cavities on wooden surfaces.

Adequate ventilation is an ideal situation as it helps in drying and the good application itself. Avoid high humid conditions i.e., >95% when condensation is likely to interfere and also when the surface temperature is at least 3°C above dew point.
One can add 5 to 10% of sweet water for ease of application depending on the suitability of application. One should apply with a putty knife or a broad bladed knife and spread it evenly on the surface to smoothen. After application light sanding may done to remove the imperfections.

Under dry and cool condition, storage stability can be sound up to 18 months in original sealed containers.

HANDLING
Disposal: As per the guidance and legislations of the local Authority e.g., by controlled landfill. In case of doubt, consult local authority. Do not empty into drains, sewers or other water courses.
Flash Point: Not applicable

Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing such as overalls, goggles, dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier cream. Other industrial practices are applicable.
Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being applied. Do not breathe vapour or spray.

FIRST AID
Eyes: In the event of accidental splashes, flush eyes with warm water immediately and obtain medical advice.
Skin: Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or approved industrial cleaner. DO NOT USE solvent or thinners.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, loosen collar and keep patient rested.
Ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Obtain immediate medical attention.
