A solvent based impregnating agent wood preservative Teak Oil formulated with special oil resins, endowed with quick wood fiber penetration, provides beautiful glossy finish to wood substrates . A continuous maintenance is required every 6 months to 1 year.

It is ideal for all types of interior and exterior applications such as: [Protecting chalets, exterior or interior match boarding, wooden parts of balconies, doors, windows, staircases, garden furniture, pergolas, etc.

All timber species must be fully aged with a moisture content of less than 15%. Surface must be dry, clean and free from contaminations. Natural oil or gum must be removed by solvent cleaning.
Any Knotty, greasy or resinous areas should be cleaned thoroughly with an NC thinner. Oily or resinous wood (such as teak or rosewood) should be washed down completely with the same type of thinner.

Dilution is not required, product is ready for use.

Depends on the finishes required but in general an appropriate rate is 100 gr / sq.m. The number of coats depends on the surface preparation the porosity of the substrate, and the finish required.
Following Treatments
The temperature should be between 5 o – 35oC and the relative humidity should not be in excess of 70%.To ensure maximum resistance of the wood to outdoor conditions. We advise applying 2 to 3 coats of TO 2439, allowing over night between coats.
Brush application: To guarantee a perfectly even finish, the brush stokes must follow the grain of the wood. After as few minutes, remove any excess with a sponge or dry brush.
Old and used Surfaces: We recommend taking out all the paint by using [PR490] Paint remover, then clean the surface with thinner, allow to dry over night, sand the surface very well, remove the dust, and apply [TO2439] WP – Teak Oil.

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with [TC010] Tool Cleaning.

Store in a cool and well ventilated place. Keep away from direct sunlight. 18 months in unopened container, stored in a cool and dry condition at 25°C.

This material is flammable and must not be exposed to naked flames.
Use only in well ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation during application wear suitable respiratory equipment. Do not breathe vapor / spray. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of sweet water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water or a recognized skin cleanser.
Keep away from sources of ignition. No Smoking. Keep out of reach of children.
