Ritver Texture Mini is a tough coating based on a suitable acrylate copolymer latex, pigmented with Titanium Dioxide and other alkali-resistant pigments with good lightfastness and strong water resistance.
It forms a good aggregate with a selected range of mineral quartz and other texture-enhancing combinations of rock.
Its formulation incorporates fungicides and algaecides, and it exhibits excellent weather resistance.

A good surface preparation and following the method statement / recommended system procedure of Ritver is an ideal recommendation for the application of Ritver Texture Mini.

For Plaster, Masonry & Concrete:
Achieve a good and clean surface by removing all contaminants by cleaning and drying. A laitance-free surface should be achieved by good sweep blasting or using a wire brush.
Before applying Ritver Texture Mini, apply one coat of Ritver Alkali Resistant Primer or Ritver All Weather Primer (EXT) and allow to dry.
Apply one good coat or two nominal coats with a fine roller and spread evenly to achieve the desired texture.

For Old and Painted Surfaces:
In case of surfaces which are painted or aged, and if there is visible dusting, chalking, or friable material, ensure all loose material is removed by scraping or using a metal brush.
If the situation is critical, torching is recommended, followed by a good coat of Ritver Fungicidal Wash Compound and allow to dry.
Follow this with one or two regular coats of Ritver Alkali Resistant Primer and proceed with the full system as described above.

For Wood & Timber:
Achieve a good and clean surface by removing all contaminants by cleaning and drying. Treatment with Ritver Wood Preservative is advisable.
Start off with a good coat of Ritver Wood Primer and allow to dry thoroughly.
Follow this with one or two regular coats of Ritver Alkali Resistant Primer and continue with the full system.
Exclusions for successful application include constantly wet surfaces and large cavities on wood or concrete surfaces.

Adequate ventilation is an ideal condition as it helps in drying and ensures proper application. Avoid high humidity conditions (i.e., >95%) when condensation is likely to interfere, and ensure the surface temperature is at least 3°C above the dew point.

One can add 20–30% of sweet water for ease of application, depending on application suitability.

Application is done with an appropriate roller to achieve the desired texture.

Caution:
a. Over-diluting may result in a flat and incorrect pattern.
b. In case of hot climatic conditions where the substrate may become very hot, it is necessary to provide adequate cooling after the primer is applied and before applying the texture, using sufficient cold water.
