Waterphobe Clear SB

Ritver Water-Phobe Clear SB is a clear solvent based easy to apply water repellant agent which can be used both as a primer and post treatment to highly filled water-based emulsions.
The product when cured provide a very hydrophobic surface protecting the substrate from the detrimental effect of water ingress and at the same time promotes breathability of the substrate. The product reacts with the substrate to form a long lasting water repelling effect that is UV and weather resistant.

Substrates: Above ground vertical concrete, brick, mortar and masonry and highly filled emulsion paints.
Area of Use: External facades.

Always ensure that the surface to be painted must be free of dirt oil and grease.

Adequate ventilation should always be observed when applying Ritver Water-Phobe Clear SB.This will ensure proper drying of the material. Never apply this product in adverse weather conditions.
Application:
Dilute the product with the recommended reducer at a rate of 2 reducer to 1 Ritver WaterPhobe Clear SB. The recommended method of application is by airless or air spray. However the product can also be applied using roller.
When applying the product, ensure that the substrate is adequately wetted in order for it to absorb ample amount of the material. Depending on the porosity of the substrate, repeat the process two times ensuring the surface is dried before re- coating.Opened containers should be all used of as the material condenses in the presence of moisture.

Under dry and cool condition, Storage stability can be sound up to 18 months in original sealed containers.
HANDLING
Disposal: As per the guidance and legislations of the local Authority e.g., by controlled landfill.
In case of doubt, consult local authority. Do not empty into drains, sewers or other water courses.
Flash Point: 42oC and contains Aromatic Hydrocarbons.

Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Wear suitable protective clothing such as overalls,goggles, dust mask and gloves. Use a barrier cream. Other industrial practices are applicable.
Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the area where the product is being applied. Do not breathe vapour or spray.

FIRST AID
Eyes: In the event of accidental splashes, flush eyes with warm water immediately and obtain medical advice.
Skin: Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or approved Industrial cleaner. DO NOT USE solvent or thinners.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air, loosen collar and keep patient rested.
Ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Obtain immediate medical attention.
